Terms of Service
These terms govern the MaestroGnome private beta, including the producer studio, local DAW assistant, invitations, and private client review rooms.
1. Accounts and eligibility
You must be at least 16 and able to form a binding agreement. Use accurate account information, protect access to your Google account and studio devices, and promptly report suspected unauthorized use. Access is personal unless a team role expressly permits shared project administration.
2. Private projects and invitations
Producers control project membership and are responsible for inviting the correct Google accounts. A review link identifies a room, but sign-in and project approval determine access. Reviewers may see the media, arrangement information, participant names, and comments made available in that room. Do not forward invitations or attempt to enter another project.
3. Your music and content
You retain ownership of music, recordings, video, sessions, comments, and other content you provide. You grant MaestroGnome a limited, non-exclusive license to host, copy, transcode, stream, display, and process that content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service you request. The license ends when content is deleted, subject to reasonable backup expiration and legal obligations.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload and share the content and to invite each participant. Do not upload material that is unlawful, infringes rights, violates a confidence, or contains malware.
4. AI and DAW operations
AI output and automated studio operations may be incomplete, inaccurate, or musically unsuitable. Review proposed operations, audition results, maintain recoverable project versions, and obtain human approval before relying on a change. MaestroGnome must not be used to bypass DAW, plugin, sample-library, union, performer, publisher, or client-license restrictions.
5. Acceptable use
Do not probe or defeat access controls; scrape private rooms; impersonate another person; upload malicious code; overload the service; use it to violate privacy, publicity, copyright, contract, or other rights; train a model on another participant’s private content without permission; or resell beta access without written authorization. We may suspend access to protect users, projects, or infrastructure.
6. Beta service and changes
This is a private beta. Features, integrations, storage limits, availability, and supported DAWs may change. We may repair, limit, or discontinue a feature and will provide reasonable notice when a change materially affects active paid service or stored content where practicable. Keep independent copies of source sessions and masters.
7. MaestroGnome materials
The service software, interface, brand, and documentation belong to MaestroGnome or its licensors. These terms provide a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the beta as intended; they do not transfer ownership or permit reverse engineering except where applicable law prohibits that restriction.
8. Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the beta is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or error-free musical or technical output. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, MaestroGnome will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages, or for loss of sessions or content that you were responsible for backing up. Any aggregate liability will not exceed the greater of amounts you paid for the service during the prior 12 months or US$100. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.
9. Ending use
You may stop using the service and request account deletion. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, security risk, legal requirement, or discontinuation of the beta. Provisions that by their nature should survive—including ownership, confidentiality, disclaimers, and liability limits—continue after termination.
10. Governing law and updates
California law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except to the extent consumer law in your home jurisdiction requires otherwise. Courts located in California will have jurisdiction where legally permitted. We may update these terms; material changes will receive reasonable notice and will apply prospectively.
